As new blockbuster “My Week With Marilyn” hits our screens we can’t help but be lulled in to the style siren’s retro appeal.

The blonde bombshell was the true icon of the 1950’s and thanks to Michelle Williams’ portrayal of Marilyn Monroe’s troubled persona her platinum locks have been brought to life once more.

You too can create Marilyn Monroe’s “set to perfection” look in a few simple steps with Goody tools:

1. Wrap small sections of dry hair around Goody Small Self Holding Rollers. Keep in mind that using asymmetrical roller patterns will give you a more natural looking style
2. Set your pin curls using a hairdryer at medium heat and allow the curls to cool down for 10 minutes
3. Once your curls are completely dry unwind each of the rollers and use a Goody Wide Tooth Comb to break-up and soften the curls.
4. Finally create a deep side parting using a Goody Tail Comb and cover your style with a mist of hairspray to give extra durability
