At Goody, we’re not afraid to admit that we love hair! However, it still came as a bit of a surprise this week to find someone who loves hair more than us, when American football player Troy Polamalu insured his trademark locks for $1 million!

 The player’s stand-out hair is a familiar sight to football fans, who frequently witness his 3ft long locks sticking out of his helmet when he plays for the Pittsburgh Steelers. The star claims to have not had a hair cut since 2000, and we think it looks in great condition considering it hasn’t been cut for the last decade!

 As you know, at Goody we’re big fans of personalising your hairstyle and encourage everyone to play with their hair to find ‘do that suits them. We’d love to hear what you think about Troy Polamalu insuring his hair and if you think there are any other celebs out there whose hair is worth the same treatment!
